Conditions of Entry

  1. Refer to the General Conditions of Entry & Competition printed in the front of this Schedule.

  2. Maximum of three (3) entries only per competitor in any class in this section

  3. Exhibits in Classes 1001 to 1006 & 1013 are to be in JARS or BOTTLES with SCREW TOP LIDS ONLY.

  4. A clear plastic OVEN BAG is recommended to protect your exhibit.

  5. Sweets etc. to be presented on a plastic (non-bendable) plate, no paper plates.

  6. Exhibits are to be delivered to the Burdekin Multi-Purpose Hall at the Ayr Showgrounds between 9.00 am and 10.00am on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 for judging to commence.

  7. Exhibitors must ensure that all entries have their Exhibit Card attached before being handed to the Stewards. 

  8. In any class having less than three (3) exhibits, only one prize will be awarded.  Whether this prize is first prize is left to the decision of the Judge, whose decision is final.

  9. As a health consideration, the Ayr PA & I Assoc. Inc. recommends that any open product should not be consumed after the Show

  10. Exhibits are to be collected between 9.00 am and 11.00 am on Thursday 25th June 2026 unless prior arrangements are made with the Show Secretary.  Exhibits not collected by 11.00am on Thursday 25th June 2026 will become the property of the Show Association, to do with as it sees fit.

  11. No exhibit is to be removed except by a Steward.

  12. Prize monies are to be collected at the Show Office from Monday, 29th June to Friday 3rd July 2026 between the hours of 3.00 pm & 5.30 pm each day.  Unless prior arrangements have been made with the Show Secretary, prize monies not collected by 5.30 pm Friday 3rd July 2026, will become the property of the Show Association.

  13. Prize Certificates must be presented when collecting awards.

 

N.B.       The Numbers beside each Category are Class Numbers.  Please use these Numbers on Entry Form.

N.B.       There are no age restrictions in Open Classes – Open to All Ages
