About Our Organisation
The Burdekin Show has been a proud Burdekin tradition for over a century, celebrating the region's strong agricultural roots and vibrant community spirit.
Held at the Ayr Showgrounds, the show brings together locals and visitors for a day of entertainment, competition and family fun. In 2026, the Burdekin Show celebrates its 117th event continuing a long -standing tradition of showcasing local agriculture, equestrian events, arts, crafts and produce alongside show rides, show bags and great food.
Run by a passionate team of volunteers, the Burdekin Show remains a highlight of the local calendar and a celebration of everything that makes the Burdekin community special.
