Conditions of Entry

Refer to the General Conditions of Entry and Competition printed in the front of this Schedule.

Maximum of 4 entries per competitor per class.

Each print is to be mounted on cardboard with a 2cm border (unless otherwise stated). Coloured cardboard permitted. There MUST be at least 4 velcro dots (HOOK side) on each corner of the back of the mounting frame. This allows the images to be mounted onto the carpet-like material used on the walls.

All exhibits must be delivered to the Show Office no later than 4.00 pm on Wednesday 17th June 2026 to allow for judging arrangements.

All exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor, and not have won a prize at any previous Ayr/Burdekin Show.

No Exhibits can be entered in than one class.

All exhibits must have the Exhibit Card completed with the Class in which it is entered firmly attached to the centre back of the exhibit (no part to be hanging down past the borders of the photograph).

In any class having less than 3 exhibits, only one prize will be awarded. Whether this prize is first prize is left to the discretion of the Judge whose decision is final.

No exhibit is to be removed except by a Steward.

Exhibits are to be collected between 9.00am and 11.00am on Thursday 25th June 2026 from the Burdekin Multi-Purpose Hall. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the Show Secretary, exhibits not collected by 11.00am on Thursday 25th June 2026 will become the property of the Show Association, to do with as it sees fit.

Prize monies are to be collected at the Show Office from Monday, 29th June to Friday 3rd July 2026 between the hours of 3.00 pm & 5.30 pm each day. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the Show Secretary, prize monies not collected by 5.30 pm Friday 3rd July 2026, will become the property of the Show Association.

No Ribbons are placed on the display of photography. All Ribbons are to be collected when prize monies are issued.

Prize Certificates must be presented when collecting awards.
