Conditions of Entry

Refer to the General Conditions of Entry and Competition printed in the front of this Schedule.

Exhibits must be delivered to the Burdekin Multi-Purpose Hall at the Ayr Showgrounds no later than 12.00 noon on Wednesday 17th June 2026.

All exhibits must have Exhibit Cards firmly attached, when delivered for judging.

Three (3) entries ONLY are the maximum permitted from any one competitor in any class in this section.

In any class having less than three (3) exhibits, only one prize will be awarded. Whether this prize is first prize is left to the discretion of the Judge whose decision is final.

No exhibit is to appear in more than one class.

All exhibits must be completed only by the entrant in the last 2 years.

An exhibit must not have been entered in a previous Ayr/Burdekin Show.

Stewards only will hang/display all exhibits once judging is completed.

Junior Classes will be split if there are sufficient entries received.

Exhibits are to be collected between 9.00 am and 11.00 am on Thursday 25th June 2026. Unless prior arrangements are made with the Show Secretary, exhibits not collected by 11.00 am on Thursday 25thJune 2026 will become the property of the Show Association, to do with as it sees fit.

No exhibit is to be removed except by a Steward.

Prize monies are to be collected at the Show Office from Monday, 29th June to Friday 3rd July 2026 between the hours of 3.00 pm & 5.30 pm each day. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the Show Secretary, prize monies not collected by 5.30 pm Friday 3rd July 2026, will become the property of the Show Association.

Special Needs Person: Special requirements of those with learning difficulties, emotional or behavioural problems, or physical difficulties.

Prize Certificates must be presented when collecting awards.
N.B. The Numbers beside each Category are Class Numbers. Please use these Numbers on Entry Form.
