Conditions of Entry

Refer to the General Conditions of Entry and Competition printed in the front of this Schedule.

All exhibits must be delivered to the Burdekin Multi-purpose Hall at the Showgrounds between 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm on Wednesday 17th June 2026. No Late Entries will be accepted.

Three (3) entries ONLY are the maximum permitted per competitor in any Class in this Section.

All exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor and have been completed in the last twelve (12) months.

Exhibit Cards must be attached (stapled or taped) to the bottom right-hand corner only (facing outwards) of each exhibit.

Each entry in Open Classes 1201 - 1206, and 15 - 18 Years Classes 1207 & 1208, must have Name, Address and Class Number on the back of the exhibit.

All entries in Classes 1209 - 1224 must have Name, DOB, School and Class printed clearly on the back of each exhibit only – do not attach name of exhibitor to front of exhibit. Exhibit Cards only are to be attached to the bottom right-hand corner of exhibit.

Entries must be done direct from nature, model (or imagination in that Class) and must be originals. No Copies to Be Shown.

All paintings and drawings in Classes 1201 - 1210 must be suitably framed and wired for hanging. Stretched canvas is acceptable.

Exhibits are to be collected between 9.00 am and 11.00 am on Thursday 25th June 2026. Unless prior arrangements are made with the Show Secretary, exhibits not collected by 11.00 am on Thursday 25th June 2026 will become the property of the Association, to do with as it sees fit.

Please note that no exhibit is to be removed except by a Steward.

Prize monies are to be collected at the Show Office from Monday, 29th June to Friday 3rd July 2026 between the hours of 3.00 pm & 5.30 pm each day. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the Show Secretary, prize monies not collected by 5.30 pm Friday 3rd July 2026, will become the property of the Show Association.

Special Needs Person: Special requirements of those with learning difficulties, emotional or behavioural problems, or physical disabilities.

All Prize Certificates must be presented when collecting awards.
N.B. The Numbers beside each Category are Class Numbers. Please use these Numbers on Entry Form.
